The UK - named ‘The Special relationship’ between the US and the UK. The UK and the US have had close relations since the start of the 20th century. The UK is also the US’s most powerful ally. Supports the US in a number of ways and is the largest investor into the US economy (followed by Japan). France is of similar power but not as close to the US as the UK.
Australia - Been very close to the US since World War 2 and has maintained close relations since.
Israel - Relies on the US for it’s survival, so there is a strong bond.
Canada - The US’s northern neighbour. Also had close relations since Canada was formed as an independent country.
Japan - Very close ally to the US since World War 2. Similar with South Korea.
