India is the seveth largest and a very populous country in the world for its famous history and culture. India is a colorful country with a variety of flora and fauna, a rich natural heritage, exciting places to visit that attracts millions of tourists from different countries every year, yet there are some hidden facts about India, which only a few people know.

  • Challenging roads
Casualties such as road accidents are maximum in India. The rate of road accidents in India is the highest. Roads of the hilly regions are more prone to accidents. Every year on an average 115,000 people die in road accidents. The reasons behind a high rate of such casualties are rash driving, poor street light facilities, speed breakers, and not following the traffic rules.
  • Buttons were invented in India
Yes, the shirt buttons we all use and don't acknowledge.
  • Agriculturally rich
India is the largest producer and consumer of agricultural produce. The production and consumption of mangoes is highest in India compared to any other country. Although India is famous the huge number of different varieties of mangoes, but there are several varieties of mangoes which are not even known to people.
